Federal Defence Minister Khawaja Asif while commenting on ‎‎Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf chairperson Imran Khan’s speech said that the government should ‎‎focus upon relief efforts for the Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) instead of giving attention ‎‎to Khan’s hatred-based politics. On the same occasion, Federal Minister for Railways Khawaja ‎‎Saad Rafiq said that Khan has become the ‘world champion’ for lying publicly, which was seen ‎‎openly during his public addresses based on hate-speech.‎

Rafiq mocked Khan’s ‘ridiculous’ political rhetoric of helping the flood affected people in the ‎‎morning and attending the ‘dharna’ at night. He added, “Khan should free Chief Minister (CM) ‎‎Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Pervaiz Khattak of his ‘dharna’ duties so that CM KP, and his cabinet, ‎‎could fulfil their obligations pertaining to the provincial government.”
