Today, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) announced the resignations of PSL Director Sohaib Sheikh and Tania Mallick, Head of Women’s Cricket, as they seek new professional opportunities.
Sohaib rejoined PCB 13 months ago, initially serving from 2016 to 2019. Tania started her tenure at Gaddafi Stadium in October 2021.
PCB Chief Operating Officer Salman Naseer stated, “Sohaib Sheikh and Tania Mallick have been instrumental in PCB’s development. Sohaib played a crucial role in launching and delivering four seasons of the HBL PSL and produced another high-quality event earlier this year.”
“Tania dedicated herself to advancing women’s cricket in Pakistan. Her initiatives significantly expanded the player base at the grassroots level. Her contributions gained international recognition, notably her role as a Full Member representative on the ICC Women’s Committee.”
