Rumours of Kaviya Maran and Anirudh’s wedding circulated online after Indian media reports linked the Sunrisers Hyderabad co-owner with music director Anirudh Ravichander.
Cinema news accounts amplified the claims on Thursday, but neither Maran nor Ravichander has issued a public comment on the reports. The claims appeared to trace back to mid-2025 Reddit posts and alleged sightings in New York.
Ravichander, 35, is an Indian music composer known for soundtracks in films including “Jailer,” “Leo”, and “Vikram.” The latest wave of speculation quickly prompted social media memes and fan reactions.
Maran is the daughter of Sun Group founder Kalanithi Maran and co-owner of Indian Premier League franchise Sunrisers Hyderabad. She has become a familiar figure among cricket fans through her appearances at IPL matches and her role in the SRH auction strategy.
Her online popularity has also extended beyond India. During an SA20 match in South Africa, a fan held up a marriage proposal for her, a moment that went viral across social platforms.
