Katie Price has confirmed her missing husband, Lee Andrews, is alive. He is held at a detention facility in Dubai, the television personality said on her podcast released Thursday.
Price said Andrews contacted her from the facility, ending days of public speculation over his disappearance. “Today was the day, which is why I’m happy, Lee has been found. Alive,” she said on the episode.
Speaking alongside her sister Sophie, Price said Andrews is being held at Dubai’s Al Awir jail. She said authorities suspected him of espionage and questioned him. “All I know is that they thought he was a spy, so he was interrogated,” she said.
Price thanked the police and the British embassy for their assistance, describing the situation as worrying for her family.
She said she told Andrews during their brief call that he had become “the most hated man in Britain” amid public speculation that his disappearance was a scam.

Addressing activity on Andrews’s phone and social media, Price said he had not had access to his device while detained. Additionally, investigators had been examining it. She also dismissed speculation linking him to another woman, saying any interaction stemmed from an old account connection rather than recent contact.
Price said the couple may give a detailed interview to address public concerns once Andrews returns to the UK.
