Acclaimed filmmaker Karan Johar recently made waves during an Ask Karan Anything (AKA) session on Instagram. With his characteristic wit and humour, Johar engaged with his followers, tackling various questions with grace and tact.
The Q&A session provided a rare insight into Johar’s thoughts and left an indelible impression on one social media user who asked about his sexuality.
Johar started the session by inviting his followers to ask him anything, promising to respond to legitimate questions that make him “gush and blush,” not “flush.” During the 10 minutes session, a question that drew considerable attention was when a user asked Karan outrightly, “You are gay, right?” Without missing a beat, Johar retorted with a savage response: “You’re interested?”

Karan was also asked to share his biggest regret in the same interactive session. The 51-year-old filmmaker confessed that he deeply regrets not having had the opportunity to work with and direct his favourite actor, the late Sridevi.
When another fan inquired about a potential collaboration between Dharma Productions, Johar’s production company, and Shah Rukh Khan’s production house, Johar cleverly replied: “Ask me no secrets; I’ll tell you no lies.”
As for his professional endeavours, Karan Johar is gearing up for the release of his upcoming family entertainer, ‘Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani.’ Starring Bollywood A-listers Alia Bhatt and Ranveer Singh, the film is scheduled to hit the theatres on July 28, according to Pinkvilla.
