Target killing incidents claimed the lives of at least five people including a policeman in different areas of the metropolis during the last 24 hours.
In a firing incident that occured in Baldia Town area of Gulshan-e-Ghazi, some unidentified miscreants killed a policeman named Tanveer.
Other target killing incidents claimed the lives of at least four people in Lyari areas including Kalakot and Gharib Shah Plot. Three of the deasesed were identified as Haris, Abdul Ghaffar and Mustafa.
Meantime, Surjani Town witnessed an armed encounter between police and criminals. A gangster was killed in the exchange of gunfire. Two others managed to escape the scene.
