The Traffic Police has released a comprehensive traffic plan in anticipation of Dr. Zakir Naik’s lecture scheduled for today, October 5, at 7 PM near Jinnah Bagh at Bara Dari. A large turnout is expected, necessitating specific parking arrangements and road closures to effectively manage the flow of attendees.

Attendees can park at YMCA Ground and DJ College Ground, but they must walk to the Polo Ground from these locations. Key roads will be closed to traffic, including Awan Sadar Road and the stretch from Fawara Chowk to Khajoor Chowk.

The traffic police have outlined alternative routes to help commuters navigate the closures. Traffic from I.I.Chandragarh Road and Shaheen Chowk will be redirected to PIDC via Ziauddin Road and Khajoor Chowk. From PIDC, vehicles will be directed along Club Road and from Metropole towards Clifton or Shahrah-e-Faisal.

Additional diversions will reroute traffic from Shaheen Complex Signal towards MR Kayani Chowk and Zainab Market and from Fawara Chowk towards Awari Signal, connecting to Shahrah-e-Faisal and Teen Talwar.

No parking zones will be enforced on both sides of the route from Sindh Club Chowk to Metropole and around Fawara Chowk.

Karachi Traffic Police advises all residents and event attendees to plan their travel routes to minimize inconvenience due to the expected disruptions.
