A man was killed and four others injured when a roof of a building collapse in Burns Road area, today.
The staircase and roof of a building fall off as the structure was decaying. According to the people living nearby, the building was rundown and some construction work was also under way.
Rescue teams faced difficulties in reaching the spot due to narrow and congested lanes in the area. They managed to pull out a man but he succumbed to the injuries.
Four others injured were moved to a hospital and their condition was said to be out of danger.
