Karachi and Multan police arrested 42 suspects were arrested in search operations in Karachi and Multan.
Multan police in a search operation in Jamilabad in Fatima Colony arrested 38 suspects, including 18 drug peddlers and others wanted for heinous crimes, were arrested.
Five suspects were arrested for illegal possession of weapons.
186 litres of illicit liquor and a large stash of contraband was recovered by the police.
About 155 houses were searched and biometric verification of 190 people was performed.

A drug peddler, identified as Abdul Shakoor Baloch, was arrested near Anjuman Hall and contraband was recovered from the suspect.
