Ever since he uttered words against a wife (RH) of the Holy Prophet (Peace Be Upon Him) the former rock star JJ (aka Junaid Jamshed) turned self proclaimed religious preacher has been on the receiving end of a lot of flak both from feminists and women’s rights organisations (for his well known misogyny) as well as his favourite religious right wing constituency.
Indeed so great was the furor that the pop-star-turned-self-proclaimed-preacher had to flee for his life abroad. believing no doubt that the hype had died down he touched down at Islamabad airport where he was met with a mob of self righteous religious fundamentalists, who proceeded to beat him black and blue.
