Los Angeles, CA: Jon B, the Grammy-nominated singer-songwriter, highlighted his official remix of Michael Jackson’s “You Are Not Alone” while promoting his 2026 “Still Got Love” tour and celebrating 30 years since his debut album Bonafide.
He told People that he completed the remix in person with Jackson, calling the sessions an “incredible honour” and emphasising that the collaboration was fully official.
Jon B noted that early in his career, the company managing Jackson also managed him, which helped strengthen their creative bond.
Bonafide, released in 1995, produced his breakthrough single “Someone to Love” featuring Babyface, whom Jon B called “the pinnacle of all artists” to work with. His 1997 follow-up “They Don’t Know” remains a live favorite three decades on.
His latest album, Waiting on You, released in March 2025, features Tank on the title track, Rick Ross on “Hills to the Hood,” Donell Jones on “Understand,” and Alex Isley on “Show Me.” Jon B said the album blends classic R&B with modern production and celebrates his 30-year career.
The 2026 “Still Got Love” tour includes stops in Palm Springs (May 10), Detroit (May 21), Cincinnati (May 22), Los Angeles (May 30), Boston (June 11), Glasgow (July 6), Birmingham (July 9), London (July 14–15), Chicago (August 6), Cleveland (August 21), Napa (September 19), and Oxnard (December 12).
