John Cena may have retired from WWE competition, but the 17-time world champion is still breaking records outside the ring.
A one-of-one John Cena autograph card featuring a patch he wore at WrestleMania 41 has sold for $329,400, setting a new record for the highest public sale of a wrestling trading card.
The 2025 Topps Royalty WWE WrestleMania Patch Autographs card was sold through Goldin after attracting a hammer bid of $270,000. The final price reached $329,400 after the buyer’s premium.
The sale shattered the previous WWE trading card benchmark associated with The Rock. A one-of-one 2022 Panini Prizm card showing The Rock delivering a Rock Bottom to “Stone Cold” Steve Austin sold for $126,000 in 2023.
What makes John Cena’s $329,400 WWE card special?
The one-of-one collectable features a commemorative patch Cena wore during his WrestleMania 41 match against Cody Rhodes in Las Vegas on April 20, 2025.
Topps introduced WrestleMania Patch Autographs featuring special patches worn by WWE Superstars at WrestleMania 41. The cards combine event-worn memorabilia with on-card autographs.
Cena’s card includes his autograph alongside an image of the WWE legend holding the championship belt.

Cena defeated Rhodes in the main event to capture his record-setting 17th world championship, surpassing the longstanding mark he had shared with Ric Flair. The match was also Cena’s final WrestleMania appearance.
Cena announced in 2024 that he would retire from in-ring competition in 2025, launching a year-long farewell run that included his final Royal Rumble, Elimination Chamber and WrestleMania appearances.

His farewell tour concluded on December 13, 2025, at WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event in Washington, D.C.
Gunther defeated Cena in the final match of his career, ending more than two decades of in-ring competition.
Cena finished his WWE career as a 17-time world champion and later became a Grand Slam Champion after winning the Intercontinental Championship in November 2025.
