Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang’s X strategy has focused on explaining AI rather than making sweeping predictions since he joined the platform in July.
Huang made his X debut on July 24 with a letter supporting open AI models. He said the issue was too important for the industry to ignore.
Open models make AI technology more widely available; broader adoption can also increase demand for Nvidia chips.
Meanwhile, an Nvidia representative told Axios that Huang personally decided to join X. The company is also expanding its broader social media operation. Nvidia is advertising for a senior social media manager with base pay of up to USD 299,000.
Luke Lango, chief technology analyst at InvestorPlace, said Huang’s understated style still helps reinforce Nvidia’s position in the AI market.

Karen North, clinical professor of communication at USC Annenberg, said Huang’s explanatory posts can also build trust in both the executive and Nvidia brand.

Unlike Elon Musk, Sam Altman and Mark Zuckerberg, Huang has so far used X mainly to break down technical ideas and discuss AI policy.
