Singer and actor Jennifer Lopez said on Brett Goldstein’s “Films To Be Buried With” podcast that the cast of “True Romance” strongly appealed to her.
Lopez discussed the 1993 crime-romance while appearing on the podcast with her “Office Romance” co-star, Goldstein, according to People. She praised the film’s ensemble and singled out Christian Slater, Brad Pitt, Patricia Arquette, Gary Oldman and James Gandolfini.
Lopez described the performances as dynamic. She said she “would have had sex with any one of them,” linking the reaction to the cast’s work in the film.
Lopez also reflected on the fame that followed her breakout role in “Selena” in 1997. She said a stranger calling her name in public early in her career left her frightened. Later, she realised the person was a fan.
Entertainment Weekly reported that Lopez became emotional while discussing “I’m Still Here,” the Brazilian biopic she watched with her father during a difficult period. The outlet said she linked the film to healing after her divorce from Ben Affleck.
