Fans of IT: Welcome to Derry have reason to celebrate after new reports suggested that work on the show’s second season is already underway.
The supernatural horror series stars Bill Skarsgård in the iconic role of Pennywise the Dancing Clown. Its pilot season, produced for HBO Max, received strong attention from audiences and horror fans alike.
According to earlier plans revealed by showrunners Andy Muschietti and Barbara Muschietti, Welcome to Derry was always envisioned as a three-season story.
The series draws from Stephen King’s It universe and explores the origins of Pennywise, expanding the mythology behind one of horror’s most terrifying figures.
