Ahead of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) power show in Rawalpindi, Islamabad police have developed a traffic plan for the twin cities.
The Islamabad police tweeted the traffic plan, with a spokesman stating that a detour had been established at Faizabad for those traveling from Islamabad to Rawalpindi via Murree Road.
According to the capital police, commuters can enter Islamabad from Rawalpindi via Old Airport Road and Stadium Road. Express Chowk and Nadra Chowk in Islamabad are closed to access the Red Zone.
However, commuters could use alternative routes such as Margalla Road, Ayub Chowk, and Serena Chowk.
Faizabad Under the bridge for the Islamabad Highway is open, but all loops for IJP Road, Murree Road, and Rawalpindi are closed.
