On Wednesday morning, Islamabad FIA  Immigration arrested Muhammad Ali at airport while travelling from Islamabad to Sharjah, having currency of 25000 USD.  FIA Immigration cell believes that he was trying to smuggle this currency to Sharjah but the FIA officials spotted him at the airport and took him into custody with the foreign currency.

According to sources, Muhammad Ali works for a UAE Hundi Dealer and he intended to move this foreign currency to Sharjah, added the FIA officials.

A case will be registered against the currency carrier as rules and regulations allow the carriage of only 10,000 US dollars while travelling abroad.
