Authorities arrested Isabelle Johnson, 38, on August 13 in Cottondale, Florida, after a seven-week search, the New York Post reported.
She faces an open count of murder in Jason Christopher Coulthart’s death. The Walton County Sheriff’s Office announced the arrest late Thursday on social media, saying, “We got her.”
Investigators said Johnson used multiple aliases and disguises while avoiding capture. Deputies previously called her a “master manipulator” who could persuade others to help her.
Coulthart, 43, disappeared May 24 after leaving the College Condominiums in Niceville, Florida, according to the sheriff’s office.

Investigators found unidentified remains in a shallow grave on a Freeport property on June 25. The District 1 Medical Examiner’s Office identified Coulthart through DNA testing in July.

The sheriff’s office said five other people face charges connected to the case. Authorities accuse some defendants of helping Johnson avoid investigators. The allegations against Johnson have not been proven in court.
