Apple’s iPhone 17 lineup has become the most popular in the company’s history, Chief Financial Officer Kevan Parekh said after a strong sales quarter.
Parekh told the Financial Times that the iPhone 17 family had reached the milestone.
The lineup includes the iPhone 17, iPhone 17 Pro, iPhone 17 Pro Max and iPhone Air. Apple did not immediately disclose unit sales or clarify whether the series is the best-selling iPhone family by volume.
Parekh said Apple believed it gained market share during the quarter, signalling stronger iPhone performance against Android competitors.
The iPhone Air also contributed to the lineup’s overall success despite earlier doubts about demand.

Apple’s broader quarterly performance was supported by strong product sales, with the iPhone remaining the main driver.
Chief Executive Tim Cook said demand for the iPhone had been “extraordinary” and highlighted Apple Intelligence as part of the company’s wider device strategy.
Further details on the iPhone 17 milestone are expected from Apple’s earnings commentary.
