Interior Minister Rana Sanaullah has alleged ex-army chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa and former ISI chief Gen. (retd) Faiz Hameed with aiding PTI Chairman Imran Khan until November 28, 2022.
The minister endorsed a claim made by Maryam Nawaz, senior vice president of the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N), who said, in a speech on February 2, that her party’s (actual) rule began after November 28 because, before that date, the PTI chief’s patrons were present.
Rana Sanaullah stated in the Geo News program “Naya Pakistan” on Friday that “it is evident that General (retd) Bajwa and General (retd) Faiz Hameed had been assisting Imran Khan until November 28, 2022, although Shehbaz Sharif was prime minister and the cabinet was functional.”.
The minister declared, “Khan has gone insane because he hasn’t been allowed to use any of the previous tools used to get him out on the streets. He stated that he intended to start a long march and capture Islamabad with the help of this “facilitation.
The PML-N leader claimed that because some people regarded him as their favorite, he continued his activities until November 26. Khan was questioned about the origins of his government and the individuals responsible.
Rana Sanaullah asserted that Imran Khan’s long march was about selecting the new army chief and that he tried to undermine the institution to accomplish his objectives.
