Brazilian influencer and content creator Juliana Oliveira, widely known as “Juju do Pix,” has embarked on a difficult journey of facial reconstruction following a severely botched cosmetic procedure in 2017 that left her face painfully disfigured.
Oliveira, a transgender influencer, trusted specialists for a cosmetic enhancement. However, the procedure had catastrophic results, shocking her with a severe bodily reaction to the substances used.
According to Oliveira’s account, the clinic initially told her it used industrial silicone. She later discovered the practitioners had actually applied 21 injections of industrial-grade mineral oil into her face.

After years of living with the disfigurement, Juliana Oliveira recently began the medical reversal process. Just two weeks ago, she underwent her first major corrective plastic surgery. The surgery aimed to remove the damaging mineral oil and start repairing the deformed tissue. This marks the initial phase of a long and complex reconstruction plan.
Dr. Thiago Marra, the surgeon now overseeing her care, outlined the multi-stage approach. “In a second stage, with the tissue more recovered and after observing the response of her body, we will be able to remove even more to improve the result,” he explained.
This indicates that Oliveira faces a series of surgeries spaced months apart. Each stage will depend on her body’s healing response before proceeding with further corrective measures.
