India Secures Asia Cup 2025 Final Spot with 41-Run Win Over Bangladesh

India booked their place in the ACC Men’s T20 Asia Cup 2025 final with a 41-run win over Bangladesh on Wednesday, September 24, 2025, in Dubai. This thrilling India vs Bangladesh Asia Cup 2025 match saw Abhishek Sharma’s explosive 75 and Kuldeep Yadav’s 3-18 lead the defending champions to 168-6, bowling out Bangladesh for 127 in 19.3 overs.

Openers Abhishek Sharma (75 off 37, six sixes, five fours) and Shubman Gill (29) started cautiously, then smashed 21 runs off Nasum Ahmed’s fourth over. Abhishek reached 50 in 25 balls but was run out after a mix-up with captain Suryakumar Yadav (5). Hardik Pandya’s 38 off 29, with four fours and a six, ensured a strong total.

Jasprit Bumrah struck early, dismissing Tanzid Hasan (1). Saif Hassan (69) and Parvez Hossain Emon (21) added 42, but Kuldeep Yadav’s double strike and 3-18 broke Bangladesh’s momentum. Saif survived four drops but fell in the 18th over. India’s spinners dominated, ending the innings early.

Abhishek’s 783 runs in 22 T20Is at a 197.72 strike rate set the tone. Kuldeep’s 12 wickets in five matches made him a standout. Rishad Hossain took two wickets for Bangladesh but couldn’t stop India’s charge.

The win eliminates Sri Lanka. Thursday’s Pakistan vs. Bangladesh match will decide India’s final opponent on Sunday. Pakistan needs a big win to secure its spot.
