As questions started rising over the absence of the political leaders at the reopening ceremony of the terror-hit Army Public School in Peshawar, KPK’s ruling party’s Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chief Imran Khan tried to clarify, stating that he was “advised” to postpone the visit.

It should be noted that Imran Khan was himself elected from Peshawar and has been trying to bring down the federal government on rigging and incompetence charges.
Nearly three weeks after students and staff members of the Army Public School were brutally massacred by Taliban terrorists at the army-run school in Peshawar on December 16, 2014, the school doors were reopened today, with classes resuming later this week. However, unlike the KPK government’s political leadership, The Pakistan Army Chief Gen. Raheel Sharif was present at the School today.
