PTI Chairman Imran Khan decried the Pakistan Democratic Movement’s attempts to prevent him from dissolving provincial assemblies.
PTI Chairman restated that “free and fair elections” as the only way to get the country out of a crisis.
While addressing, Imran remarked party’s legislators, fans, and workers outside the Punjab Governor House in Lahore to “prevent” Balighur Rehman from de-notifying Chief Minister Chaudhry Parvez Elahi.
He said, “Today, I want to talk about Punjab. It’s odd PML-N challenged us to dissolve assemblies, saying they were ready for elections. When we did that, the Punjab Assembly voted for confidence and no trust.
The PTI chief reiterated that he wanted to dissolve provincial assemblies “because we fear the country would slip out of our grasp.”
Imran said that “this joke in Punjab” was happening because the coalition government is trying to avoid elections, and those who live abroad are afraid.
“They have a one-point agenda to hide their theft, and they will hurt the country in the process. They won’t think about Pakistan once. All they want is an NRO 2,” he alleged.
