IESCO Power Suspension Announced for Multiple Areas on Sunday

ISLAMABAD: The Islamabad Electric Supply Company (IESCO) announced an IESCO power suspension schedule for Sunday across several areas due to maintenance and routine development work.

An IESCO spokesperson said electricity in Jhelum Circle would remain suspended from 6 am to 10 am on the F-7 Kutchery feeder.

In Chakwal Circle, IESCO scheduled outages from 6 am to noon on the Mureed, Jamal Wal and Mengan feeders.

The company also announced 6 a.m. to noon shutdowns in GSO Circle. The affected feeders include New Choa, Baba Shaheed, Chapper, Fazal Shaheed, Kambeli Sadiq, Kallar City, Doberan and Mal Awan.

IESCO said work on the 132kV MES-S/Town and MES-KTM transmission circuits would run from 6:30 am to 5 pm. Millatabad, Chairing Cross and Askari-XI face suspension from 6:30 am to 2 pm.

Maintenance on the 132kV AWC HMC Taxila and Sangjani-Burhan lines is scheduled from 9 am to 4 pm. The Kahuta City-Palandri and New Wah-Bahtermore lines face outages from 8 am to 6 pm.

IESCO apologised for the inconvenience. The company said it would restore electricity earlier if crews completed the maintenance work ahead of schedule.
