Lahore: Six minors of a family were burnt to death in a short circuit blaze late on Saturday night at Sher Shah Road, Lahore.
According to Rescue 1122 officials, the fire caused by a short circuit in a first floor, engulfed other floors of the building gave the occupants no chance to escape unburnt.
The Rescue officials also added that six children became the fatal victims of either asphyxiating smoke that filled the rooms of the flat fast or the infernal flames.
The local residence alleged that the firefighters reached the site at least two hours after the fire had started consuming the building.
