Pakistan’s long-range shooting team clinched their maiden victory at the European Long Range Championship, according to a statement from the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) on Monday. Making their debut at the event, the team competed against over 80 shooters from 12 countries in individual matches and faced 12 teams in group events.

The championship, which started on September 5 at Bisley, UK, is regarded as the second most prestigious global event in the long-range category. Lieutenant Colonel Junaid Ali bagged a gold medal, while Lieutenant General Ahsan Gulrez and Colonel Junaid Waqas won silver, marking Pakistan’s first medals in an international long-range event.
