Hilaria Baldwin said her marriage to Alec Baldwin works because they give each other space, she told the Daily Mail.
The 42-year-old businesswoman said the couple are “polar opposites.” She said that the difference has helped their relationship last.
Hilaria said regular date nights also help the marriage. She said they often go out for dinner or cook at home.
The yoga instructor said the couple use that time to discuss their seven children and work projects.

Hilaria also addressed early criticism of the relationship. She said people once saw the marriage as “ridiculous” because of their age gap and Alec’s fame.
She said the couple now joke about the reaction within their family.
Hilaria and actor Alec Baldwin married in 2012. They share seven children: Carmen, Rafael, Leonardo, Romeo, Eduardo, Maria Lucia and Ilaria.
