Heavy rain has brought much-needed relief to Landikotal, Mardan, and other parts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, resulting in pleasant weather. However, the Met Department reports that the southern districts continue to face a severe heatwave.

This spell of rain is likely to continue in the plains and hilly areas throughout the week.

The department forecasts rain for the Potohar region, upper Punjab, and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Islamabad and its adjacent areas are expected to be cloudy with a chance of rain.

Cloudy skies with the possibility of rain are anticipated in Gilgit-Baltistan and Azad Jammu and Kashmir. Upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa may also experience thundershowers.

Rain is expected in cities such as Rawalpindi, Murree, Galiyat, Attock, Chakwal, Jhelum, Gujrat, and Gujranwala. DG Khan, Bahawalpur, Rajanpur, Muzaffargarh, and Multan may also see rainfall. Evening showers are likely in Barkhan, Zhob, Khuzdar, and Awaran.

The upper and central districts of Sindh could experience light storms. The coastal areas of Sindh are predicted to remain hot and humid, while most districts in Quetta will continue to be dry and hot over the next 24 hours. Windy and dusty conditions are possible in the northern districts of Quetta.

Tonight, rain is expected in Barkhan, Zhob, Musakhel, Khuzdar, Awaran, and surrounding areas, bringing potential relief.

The Met Department’s forecast highlights varied weather patterns across the region. Residents are advised to stay updated with the latest weather information and take necessary precautions.
