Brandon Stanton, the man behind the extremely popular photo blog ‘Humans of New York’ (HONY) earlier today, wrote an open letter to Republican front-runner Donald Trump, accusing him of encouraging prejudice and violence in the pursuit of personal power.
The letter terms Trump, who is in the news for calling for a Muslim ban in US, racial profiling and more recently for saying Muslims hate the US, as the ‘victim of the very anger that you’ve joyfully inflamed for months,’ and that he is not ‘presidential’.
About his anti-Muslim stance, Stanton, in the letter says that he conducted extensive interviews with hundreds of Muslims on the streets of Iran, Iraq, and Pakistan and also met hundreds of Syrian and Iraqi refugees across seven different countries and can confirm that the hateful one is Trump, not Muslims.
