Hamza Firdous, son of renowned actor Firdous Jamal, has disclosed that his mother has initiated divorce proceedings against his father.
Hamza Firdous’s revelation follows Firdous Jama’s earlier statement about distancing himself from his family. This statement surfaced after Firdous Jamal’s interview with YouTube and digital content creator Ambreen Fatima. In that interview, Jamal expressed his decision to live in isolation from his family.
During the interview, Firdous Jamal provided extensive details about his family dynamics, which prompted his son to release a video clarifying further developments. In his emotionally charged video, Hamza Firdous stated, “I am making this video with great pain,” expressing regret over the necessity of such disclosures.
Hamza highlighted that his father’s actions and the resulting family discord had become a topic of public discussion due to viral videos on social media. Despite his efforts to keep family matters private, the severity of the issues compelled him to speak publicly. He confirmed that his mother is inactive on social media platforms and officially announced her decision to divorce Firdous Jamal.
He shared the profound difficulties his mother faced over 35 to 40 years, enduring significant hardships with the hope of eventual improvement, which unfortunately did not materialize. Hamza acknowledged that while everyone possesses virtues and flaws, his father’s adverse actions had escalated so they could no longer be overlooked or tolerated.
In addressing the broader implications of these personal disclosures, Hamza mentioned, “The media people know about it; the public doesn’t because God has kept it hidden.” He discussed the natural response to suffering caused by others, from initial complaints to overt expressions of pain. He noted that his attempts to seek intervention from his father’s siblings were unheeded as they continued to act against his family’s interests.
