Many tourists flock to Malaysia annually, attracted by its dynamic cities, stunning beaches, dense rainforests, and historical landmarks. Securing a visit visa is essential for Pakistani nationals.

Pakistani citizens should apply for an electronic visa (eVisa), which is valid for six months from the approval date and permits a 30-day stay within that period.

Required Documents:

  • Pakistani passport (valid for at least six months)
  • Digital copy of the passport’s biographical page
  • Recent passport-sized photo
  • Proof of accommodation in Malaysia
  • Return flight ticket
  • Evidence of adequate funds for the stay

eVisa Fees for Pakistanis:

  • The eVisa fee is 20 Malaysian Ringgit (about Rs1,185 as of September 3, 2024).
  • A visa processing fee of 105 Ringgit plus service charges also applies.

  • The eVisa is usually processed within one to three business days. After processing, travellers can download and print their visas for entry into Malaysia.
