Gold prices remained stable in both international and local markets on Friday, showing no movement compared to the previous session.
In the international bullion market, gold traded flat at $4,601 per ounce, with no change recorded during the day. The stability in global prices is directly reflected in Pakistan’s domestic market.
In local currency terms, the price of gold per tola remained unchanged at PKR 482,462. Likewise, the price for 10 grams of gold remained unchanged at PKR 413,633, according to market sources.

Silver prices also showed no variation. The price of silver per tola held firm at PKR 9,425, while 10 grams of silver continued to trade at PKR 8,080.
Market analysts say gold prices are consolidating as investors await fresh global economic signals, including interest rate cues and currency movements, before taking new positions.
