Gold prices declined in both international and local markets on Saturday. Globally, gold fell $18 per ounce, closing at $2,639.
Locally, 24-carat gold decreased by Rs 1,200 per tola to Rs 275,700. Similarly, the price for 10 grams of gold fell by Rs 1,029 to Rs 236,368.
Despite the fall in gold prices, silver prices remained stable. Locally, one tola of silver continued to be priced at Rs 3,350, and 10 grams at Rs 2,872.08.
Market experts suggest that these gold price fluctuations reflect global economic trends, while these recent changes have not impacted silver prices.
