A teenaged girl attempted to commit suicide over the non-payment of her school fee in the city of Jhang.
According to the police, the victim, Sumaira, was withdrawn from a school after her parents were unable to arrange the monthly tuition fee.
Sumaria’s father is a patient of epilepsy, a neurological disease, which causes seizures.
The police said that Sumaira’s father refused to pay a monthly fee of Rs20 and withdrew her from the school leaving her disheartened.
