Here is a detailed list of the key individuals and suspects arrested in connection with the suspected overdose and death of Matthew Perry:

Jasveen Sangha:

Jasveen Sangha, known as the “Ketamine Queen,” has allegedly sold ketamine and methamphetamine from her North Hollywood stash house since at least 2019. The indictment states that her clients primarily consist of high-profile individuals and celebrities. Sangha has embraced a glamorous lifestyle, attending significant events such as the Golden Globes and the Oscars, and frequently showcases her international travels and parties on social media. Just a day before her arrest, she was active online, sharing images of her newly styled purple hair from a salon.

Dr. Salvador Plasencia:

Dr. Salvador Plasencia, a 2010 UCLA medical school graduate, has worked as an emergency room physician without any disciplinary actions. Authorities accuse him of instructing Kenneth Iwamasa, Perry’s assistant, on how to administer ketamine injections to the actor. Additionally, Dr. Plasencia has applied for a DEA license to prescribe controlled substances legitimately.

Dr. Mark Chavez:

Dr. Mark Chavez is also a UCLA medical graduate. He founded The Health MD, a concierge medicine practice focusing on longevity and fitness. He lives in Southern California and enjoys running, beach time, and aiding others in achieving their personal best. His medical license remains active until 2026, and he has no disciplinary records.

Kenneth Iwamasa:

At 59, Iwamasa served as Perry’s live-in personal assistant and had developed a close relationship with him for over two decades. His background includes photography and environmental design studies, with additional cinematography and film production training from Columbia College Hollywood. Iwamasa has managed and assisted various Hollywood celebrities, including a nine-year stint with actress Angela Bassett. He describes himself as thriving in chaotic situations and valuing discretion and confidentiality.

Erik Fleming:

Aged 51, Fleming is a film and television director and producer known for his work on the children’s fantasy comedy My Brother the Pig and the film Tyrone. He also produced the first season of the reality show The Surreal Life. Fleming has been described as an acquaintance of Perry’s who allegedly facilitated his access to ketamine through his connections.

These arrests reveal a complex web of interactions and transactions leading up to the tragic event, underscoring the intricate dynamics within celebrity drug use and supply networks.
