Illegal border crossing: 5 Pakistanis arrested in Hungary for

Budapest: Hungarian police said Monday that they have arrested five Pakistani nationals for illegally attempting to cross the border into the country.

Police officials said that Khalid Hameed Farooqi in Hungary that the five Pakistani nationals were arrested while trying to cross Hungary’s border with Croatia.

The Pakistanis were trying to illegaly enter into Hungary with Syrian refugees pouring into the country via the Croatian and Serbian borders.

The Hungarian police has started carrying out a large number of arrests since Sunday and has announced a crackdown on all illegal migrants entering the country.

According to the Hungarian police, the latest arrests included five Pakistanis as well as a large number of Bangladeshis, Syrians, Iraqi, and people of other nationalities.

Further details as to the names of the Pakistanis and how they had traveled to the Hungarian-Croatian border were unclear at the moment.
