Multan: Three women and two minor girls were killed, while two others sustained injuries when roof of an under-construction house caved in, here on Saturday morning.
Rescuers said the incident took place at an area on Vehari road near Tawakkal CNG pump station where a roof of under-construction house collapsed.
As a result, five persons identified as Atia Bibi (50) wife of Fateh Muhammad, Sabran Bibi (50) wife of Abdul Majeed, Razia Bibi (30) wife of Ramzan, two year old Maham d/o Ramzan and three-year-old Areeba d/o Rafiq died on the spot.
The injured are: five-year-old Haidar Ali s/o Waris and Abeela wife of Muhammad Akram.
Both the injured were shifted to Nishtar hospital for treatment. (APP)
