At least five people have been injured in a grenade attack in Nayabad locality of Karachi’s Lyari area earlier today.
According to police, two attackers riding a motorcycle lobbed a hand grenade at people standing at a local water pumping station. At least five people were wounded as a result of the explosion.
Rescue immediately reached the location and shifted the injured to the Civil hospital.
Police were trying to keep the people away from the crime scene so to preserve evidence.
