In the last 24 hours at least five infants have died at Civil Hospital in Khairpur due to lack of oxygen supply.
According to the report, the government-run hospital in Khairpur, from where Chief Minister Syed Qaim Ali Shah was elected, is facing lack of oxygen supply despite spending millions of rupees in health sector.
The condition of 20 children is critical, while 7 seven infants have been referred to Larkana and Sukkur for medical treatment.
The hospital management has avoided commenting on unfortunate incident
