The Federal Investigation Agency arrested four suspects in Lahore, Punjab, during raids against alleged hawala-hundi networks and copyright law violations.
The FIA Corporate Crime Circle Lahore arrested Shahid Ilyas and Shahid Nazir in the hawala-hundi case. Officials alleged that both suspects operated an illegal currency exchange.
FIA Authorities recovered Rs. 20.4 million from the suspects. They also seized $1,080, A$320, 4,015 UAE dirhams, £85 and 160 Saudi riyals.
Officials said raiding teams also seized documentary and digital evidence linked to hawala-hundi operations.
In a separate action, the FIA arrested Noor-ul-Mujtaba and Arsalan Imtiaz for alleged violations of the Copyright Act.

The agency said it recovered a large quantity of counterfeit products carrying the names of registered companies. FIA sources alleged that the suspects stored and sold fake branded goods in the local market.
