Roger Federer kept up his bid for a fifth Indian Wells title after breezing into the semi-finals with a 7-5 6-1 victory over Kevin Anderson. Anderson ended Australian Open champion Stanislas Wawrinka’s 13-match winning streak in the fourth round but was brushed aside by Federer in just over an hour.
Federer is yet to drop a set in four matches at the tournament, Federer didn’t even lose serve against Anderson.Federer next faces Alexandr Dolgopolov, who beat Andy Murray’s fourth-round conqueror Milos Raonic 6-3 6-4.
