Federal Govt Increased Fuel Prices for the Next Fortnight

The federal government announced new prices for petroleum products on Thursday for the upcoming fortnight, with adjustments to petrol and high-speed diesel rates.

The latest notification reveals a rise in petrol prices by Rs 1.35, bringing the cost to Rs 248.38 per litre. High-speed diesel also increased, now priced at Rs 255.14 per litre after a rise of Rs 3.85.

Conversely, the prices for light diesel and kerosene oil have decreased. Following the update, kerosene oil is now priced at Rs 148.5 per litre, reflecting a decrease of Rs 4.92. Light diesel has dropped by Rs 2.61, now costing Rs 147.51 per litre.
