Former PPP leader and prominent lawyer Fawad Chaudhry has formally announced that he will join Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf (PTI).
Chaudhary, in a Twitter message divulged that he would contest by-election in NA-63 on PTI’s ticket.
In the Twitter message thanked PTI Chairman Imran Khan for awarding ticket to take part in Jhelum by-election.
“I am trying to unite opposition under one banner,” he said.
Chaudhry was also the spokesman for former President General (retd) Pervez Musharraf. He has also served as Secretary General of the All Pakistan Muslim League (APML).
Chaudhary left APML due to personal differences with the party. Later, he joined the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP). He is also a prominent analyst on various television channels.
