A former security officer of Pakistan Peoples Party MNA Faryal Talpur, was gunned down on Wednesday.
According to police, Abdur Razzak Shaikh indentified as former security official of Faryal Talpur was shot dead in District Central at Haji Mureed Goth within the limits of Gulbahar police station.
Shaikh was taken to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital for medical treatment where he succumbed to his injuries.
Police has handed over his body to his family for burial after postmortem.
Shaikh was also a close aide of Zardari’s chief protocol officer Bilal Shaikh who had been killed a few years ago in a suicide attack in Karachi.
