An anti-terrorism court issued earlier today death warrants for two convicts in Faisalabad.
According to sources, the prison authorities have taken all necessary measures in this regard.
“The two will be sentenced to death on March 12,” the sources added.
The convicts are expected to meet their loved ones for the last time today (March 10).
The judge had also awarded life imprisonment to each convicts and collectively fined them Rs10.08 million. The court awarded them life imprisonment on two counts each for illegal possession of weapons.
Earlier, in Lahore, an ATC had sentenced four men to death on 21 counts after they were convicted of killing 10 jail warders and injuring seven others in an attack on wardens’ hostel in 2012.
