Renowned Pakistani actor Fahad Mustafa has achieved a historic feat by receiving two distinguished awards from the British Parliament, a significant milestone in his career.
He is the first Pakistani actor to receive honours from both Houses of Parliament. During a ceremony hosted by Multicultural Britain, British MP Naz Shah awarded Mustafa the Diversity and Cultural Impact Award in the House of Commons. He also received the Global Cultural Unity Award in the House of Lords, presented by British Minister Lord Wajid Khan.
Mustafa shared his accomplishment on Instagram, expressing his gratitude and pride. He noted, “Our Stories Matter! This recognition belongs to every artist, dreamer, and storyteller in Pakistan who dares to dream big and cross boundaries. It is a testament to the power of our culture, stories, and unity, highlighting our global impact.”
This recognition comes shortly after Pakistani actress Mahira Khan received the Lifetime Achievement Award in the British Parliament.
Fahad Mustafa is celebrated for his impactful roles in Urdu cinema and television, notably his highly successful series “Kabhi Main Kabhi Tum,” which broke viewership records in Pakistan. Despite fan requests for a sequel, Mustafa has confirmed no plans for a continuation.
