Elon Musk, CEO of Tesla Motors, has transformed the microblogging platform X (formerly Twitter) into a prominent multimedia platform.
The tech mogul and SpaceX owner recently introduced the beta version of X TV on social media. This new feature allows users to watch movies and live content directly within the X app, reducing reliance on external media players.
The X TV beta version is available on Android TVs and will soon expand to LG, Amazon Fire TV, and Google TV. Early users are testing the app’s features, and their feedback will help shape future updates. This launch represents a key milestone as X TV progresses toward a full release.
According to Digit, X TV’s key features include:
- Replay TV: Store up to 72 hours of shows in the cloud.
- Startover TV: Begin any live show from the start, even if you join late.
- Free Cloud DVR: Record up to 100 hours of content at no extra cost.
