Singer-songwriter Ella Langley’s Ella Langley Choosin Texas has spent 10 non-consecutive weeks at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100, extending its crossover run across pop and country charts.
The Alabama artist first sent “Choosin’ Texas” to No. 1 on Valentine’s Day 2026. The track is now the longest-running Hot 100 No. 1 by a female country artist.
The song is also the seventh country track recorded solely by a woman to top the all-genre chart. It has spent 25 weeks at No. 1 on Billboard’s Hot Country Songs chart.
Langley’s follow-up single “Be Her” is holding at No. 2 on the Hot 100. Langley became the first artist known primarily for country music to hold the chart’s top two spots for multiple weeks.
The chart run follows Langley’s sweep at the 61st Academy of Country Music Awards, where she won all seven of her nominations, including Female Artist, Song and Single of the Year.
“Choosin’ Texas” went viral on TikTok before its October 2025 release as the lead single from Langley’s second album, “Dandelion.” Langley co-wrote and co-produced the song with Miranda Lambert.
