Lahore: In a rigging case the election tribunal on Monday announced reelection on NA-125 constituency and declared Federal Railway Minister Khawaja Saad Rafique disqualified.
NA – 125 constituency seat previously secured by Khawaja Saad Rafique of the ruling Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) in the May 2013 general election.
Hamid Khan of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) had challenged the victory of the PML-N’s Khawaja Saad Rafique.
Saad Rafique had bagged 123,416 votes from the constituency with Hamid Khan was declared the runner with 84,495 thousand votes.
